Recipe for a juicy potato pizza
Ingredients for one tray
For the dough
- 1000 g potatoes, soft-boiled
- 2 white onions
- 120g tender oat flakes
- Salt pepper
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp olive oil, virgin
For quick tomato sauce
- 1 can chopped tomatoes
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 white onion
- 1 pack of tomato paste
- 1 tsp sugar
- Salt pepper
- 2 tsp oregano
For covering
- 200 g grated mozzarella
- Topping of your choice, e.g. chopped vegetables, tuna, pepperoni, capers, olives, corn
preparation
- Peel and finely grate the potatoes. Squeeze out with kitchen paper. Peel and grate the onions too.
- Mix the potatoes and onions with the oat flakes, salt, pepper, eggs and olive oil to form a homogeneous dough.
- Spread on a baking tray lined with baking paper and pre-bake at 160 degrees for about 20 minutes.
- Prepare the tomato sauce: Peel the garlic and onion. Puree together with chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, salt and pepper and oregano using a hand blender to make a quick tomato sauce.
- Spread on the pre-baked pizza base.
- Spread the grated cheese on the tomato sauce. Then top the pizza with the ingredients of your choice. Sliced mushrooms, corn, tuna or pepperoni are particularly suitable.
- Place back in the oven for 20 minutes and bake until golden brown.
- Serve immediately.
