The clairvoyant and medium remains in prison like the mayor, Gilles d’Ettore

The clairvoyant indicted in the case of embezzlement of which the mayor of Agde is suspected, will remain in pre-trial detention. His request for release was refused by the investigating chamber of the Montpellier Court of Appeal.

To justify this continued detention, in addition to an insufficient release plan (such as a promise of employment), he is notably accused of “having remained silent before the investigating judge”, mentions one of his lawyers, Luc Abratkiewicz, Free Midday. “Her detailed confessions to the investigators must therefore be confirmed before the magistrate, I will ask that she be heard quickly.”

Indictment for receiving stolen property and fraud

In this case, Sophia Martinez is indicted for receiving stolen property and fraud. By modifying her voice, she would have succeeded in placing relatives under influence, notably the mayor of Agde, Gilles d’Ettore (LR), in order to make them believe that they were “in conversation with a supernatural being coming from the beyond”, according to the public prosecutor of Béziers, Raphaël Balland.

The mayor of Agde was indicted, in particular for illegal taking of interests and corruption. Like Sophia Martinez, he was placed in pre-trial detention on March 21, and his request for release was also rejected by the investigating chamber of the court of appeal.
