The city forgets to send an invoice, a “blunder” worth several million euros

This would be a costly “blunder”. In today’s edition, Provence reveals that Marseille town hall has not sent any invoice for public domain occupation fees to electric scooter operators authorized in the city.

An “oversight” which would be linked to internal dysfunctions within the municipal administration… and which is rather expensive. The shortfall is estimated according to our colleagues at more than one million euros per year, or a total of several million euros. Indeed, one of the operators, Voi, confirmed the information with the regional daily, explaining that he had not received any invoice since his arrival at Marseille 2020 but had put the sum aside just in case.
