The cabaret series “Eulenspiegel Flying Circus” in the Deutsches Museum – Munich

At least Corona has left something good: open-air cabaret has established itself in Munich. This is how Till Hofmanns blossomed “Eulenspiegel Flying Circus”, last year for the first time in the Posthof of the Deutsches Museum, has become a favorite place for artists and the public alike, despite the moderate summer weather. And so it starts again there. Throughout June, you can enjoy a colorful harvest of the current cabaret scene in this cozy spot.

Diversity is the program: in addition to the stars of the Munich and Bavarian scene such as Christian Springer (with his current program “Not equal”, June 2), Max Uthoff (“Moscow Dogs”, June 4), Constanze Lindner (“Miss Understanding”, June 5 .), Eva Karl Faltermeier (“Taxi. Clock is running”, June 7th), Michael Altinger (“Lichtblick”, June 13th), Claudia Pichler (“A woman sees white-blue”, June 14th), Franziska Wanninger (“For me it should red roses hail”, June 20), Simon Pearce (“Hybrid”, June 21), Sigi Zimmerschied (“Dopplerleben – Eine Fälschersaga”, June 27), Luise Kinseher (“Painting walls. Setting sails”, June 29) and Christl Sittenauer (“Women are not human”, 30.6.) are traditionally guests of Austrian greats again.

As usual, Günther “Gunkl” Paal offers an “evening-length digression” with “So und anders” (June 3). Sonja Pikart, who is German but has lived in Vienna for a long time and grew into cabaret there, will be showing “A Sparrow, a Wish, a People’s Uprising” on June 15. The charming provocateur Martin Puntigam (solo and not with the Science Busters, who can be experienced in the Lustspielhaus) brings his “lucky cat” with him again (June 23). And the famous duo Blözinger (“Erich”, 24.6.) is back, as is the great Alfred Dorfer (“und. . .”, 26.6.).

It starts on the 1st with the cheeky young duo Teresa Reichl and Lara Ermer, who show excerpts from their debut programs as “Gemischter Satz unter Bäume”. Seen in this light, it is also a premiere, as is the duo of Franconian bad-temper-volcano Matthias Egersdörfer and guitarist Heinrich Filsner, who unpack “their greatest successes”, i.e. typically twisted everyday observations and “a bag full of good hits” (17.6.) . The first “real” premiere is celebrated by old girls. In the debut evening “Macht” the not so old Jutta Habicht, Sabine Urig and Anna Bolk are all about female struggles for the alpha animal position. The three “gladiators of pop cabaret” promise “razor-sharp dialogues, rousing songs and multiple dance routines” (6.6.)

There is another premiere with “The money is on the windowsill, Marie”, the duo of the quarrelsome couple Wiebke Eymess and Friedolin Müller, which has a complicated title but is always grandiose. “Number pushing. Favorite numbers” is the name of their tenth anniversary program (June 28). There are also weird multi-person plays at Ulan & Bator alias Frank Smilgies and Sebastian Rüger with their “Zukunst” (June 16) as well as at the “revival” of the hilarious Bonnie & Clyde grotesque “Ratatata!” with Constanze Lindner, Michael Altinger and Alex Liegl from June 8th to 10th.

Patrizia Moresco and her “Best of Kracher” (June 18) and Michael Mittermeier (June 12) finally get into comedy. You can only see the stand-up grandmaster and his “# 13” program at Circus Krone.
