12:20 p.m. : A hundred Ukrainian soldiers have arrived in the American state of Oklahoma, to be trained there in the use of the Patriot air defense system, according to the American channel Fox News (in English). The planned training has been accelerated, but it should still be spread over several months. The radar power of these systems makes it possible to identify many targets at once, and to trigger surface-to-air missiles at 4,000 km/h. At this stage, one copy must be delivered by the United States, and another by Germany.

A 16-year-old boy was stabbed to death several times, this morning, near the Guillaume-Apollinaire high school, in Thiais (Val-de-Marne). An investigation has been opened, said the Créteil prosecutor’s office.

• Hope of finding survivors after plane crash in Nepal is now “bad”, said a local official. The bodies of 68 people have already been found.

11:36 : The Kremlin denies any responsibility in the strike carried out on a residential building in Dnipro, where at least 36 people were killed. Dmitro Peskov, spokesman for the Russian presidency, believes that this tragedy was caused by Ukrainian air defense, not a direct attack.

11:02 : In Zaporizhia, last night, a residential building was damaged by an S-300 missile, reports the Ukrainian presidential cabinet. Five people were injured by shards of glass, including two minors aged 9 and 15.

10:50 a.m. : Relief operations continue in Dnipro, two days after a deadly Russian strike on a residential building. Tents were set up to provide aid to the victims, and psychologists took care of 98 victims. Nearly 580 people were mobilized to help the inhabitants.

09:47 : The toll of the Russian strike which destroyed a building in Dnipro, in eastern Ukraine, is now 35 dead, including two children, announces the governor of the region. “Thirty-nine people were saved, 75 were injured”says Valentyn Reznichenko. “The fate of 35 other residents of the building is unknown.”
