Ulrike Beckmann, director of the German Jane Goodall Institute in Munich, about the optimism of the English chimpanzee researcher, her elixir and the reason for her popularity.

Jane Goodall turned 90 on April 3rd. The English chimpanzee researcher is still on the road to talk about her life and her projects and to promote animals and nature conservation. There are 30 institutes worldwide that work under their name, the German one is based in Munich-Schwabing. The veterinarian Ulrike Beckmann is currently the second board member of the non-profit organization club.
