You have to drink it to believe it. The new land of pastis would be well in Lyon and no longer in Marseille, traditionally associated with its “pastaga”. For the second consecutive year, “L’anis des Gones”, produced at the Distillerie de Lyon in the 8th arrondissement, was voted the best pastis in the world. The Lyonnaise drink received the gold medal from the World Drinks Awardsan international competition that rewards the best spirits, wines and beers from all over the world.
The recipe for success ? A version released a few weeks ago, “wanted to be rounder and more greedy and with twenty-four plants in total”, confide its manufacturers.
