The finale of “The Bachelorette” will be shown on RTL on August 30th. Some candidates used the show as a career springboard.
John Haller
Johannes Haller (35) fought for the heart of “Bachelorette” in 2017. Jessica Haller (33), then still Paszka, did not present her last rose to the runner-up. Born in Ravensburg, who completed training as a mechatronics technician and automobile salesman, he continued to search for love with the “Bachelor in Paradise” branch in 2018 and finished fifth in the “Celebrity Big Brother” house. This was followed by TV appearances in the RTL “Summer House” and in “Kampf der Realitystars”. The founder of a yacht charter company in Ibiza is not only professionally successful (around 285,000 Instagram followers), in 2020 he celebrated a love comeback with Jessica Haller. The two have been married since 2021 and have a daughter. The actually chosen one of the “Bachelorette”, David Friedrich (33, 268,000 Instagram followers), later also used his first TV fame. The drummer of the band Electric Callboy reached fourth place in the jungle camp in 2018.
Philip Stehler
Philipp Stehler (35), who is followed by around 259,000 subscribers on Instagram, appeared in the docu-soap “Berlin Models” in 2014, but later gained greater fame with his participation in “The Bachelorette” in 2015. He ended up voted third place by Alisa Persch. In 2016 he got a guest role in “Gute Zeiten, Schlechte Zeiten” and was a candidate for “Bachelor in Paradise” in 2018. From 2020 to 2022, the former police officer was in front of the camera for the Sat.1 scripted reality series “K11 – The New Cases”. Stehler, who suffered from ulcerative colitis for many years, has also written a book about his illness. The ex-“Bachelorette” candidate and his wife Vanessa became parents for the first time in June 2023.
Filip Pavlovic
Hamburg’s Filip Pavlović (29) took part in “The Bachelorette” in 2018 after his first minor TV experiences and finished third. He also tried his luck a year later with the spin-off “Bachelor in Paradise”. In 2020, the TV star won the RTL reality show “Like Me – I’m Famous” with 219,000 Instagram followers. He was just as successful in the same year in “Celebrity Boxing” and in 2021 in the “Jungle Show”, a corona replacement format for the jungle camp, in which he got the golden ticket for “I’m a star – get me out of here!” 2022 won. He ultimately left the format as the king of the jungle. His other TV jobs include “RTL Turmsprung”, “Murmel Mania” or the “TV total Wok-WM”.
Zico Banach
Zico Banach (32) took part in the dating format in 2021 and courted Maxime Herbord’s (28) heart. However, he dropped out in third place and made an appearance on “Bachelor in Paradise” shortly afterwards. However, he should not find his great love in a dome format, but in another TV job: Banach (around 101,000 Instagram followers) rose after his dating show experience in the spring of 2022 in the role of Carlos Janssen in the RTLzwei series “Köln 50667 ” a. He played the ex-lover of Pia Tillmann’s (37) role Meike Weber. In June 2022, the two made it public that they were a couple in real life by going to a football game together. In the spring, the RTLzwei format reinvented itself with new actors, and the couple also left the show in this context. The two will soon be moving to the RTL “summer house” together.
Domenico de Cicco
Domenico de Cicco (40) also achieved TV fame through “Bachelorette”. He took part in the dome show in 2017, previously he was seen in the scripted reality “Next, Please!”. Domenico de Cicco (116,000 Instagram followers) could not conquer the heart of “Bachelorette” Jessica Haller. In 2018 things went better in the spin-off “Bachelor in Paradise”, with his partner Evelyn Burdecki (34) he was chosen as one of three winning couples in the final. However, after the show, the couple announced their split. After that, he was back with his daughter’s mother. Their child was born at the end of September 2018. In the 13th jungle camp season he met Burdecki again, he was the first participant to drop out and she became the jungle queen. After that, Domenico de Cicco was seen at the “Großen Sat.1 Promiboxen”.
