The awakening of Fillon Maillet and the Blues in Hochfilzen?… Follow the men’s sprint with us…

11:44 a.m. : The combination of Swiss skiers, the impression of being in the 80s.

11:43 a.m. : Obviously, the Norwegian team has made up for it a little on the waxing. Johannes Boe’s start to the race was great on skis.

11:41 a.m. : Oh the little crack of Philipp Nawrath on the first prone shot, with two errors, and that could have done more for the leader in the general classification.

11:40 a.m. : For the moment, the atmosphere is not crazy in Hochfilzen. Get me some smoke bombs, some fog horns.

11:39 a.m. : Departure of Johannes Boe. We’ll see what he’s up to, after an average start to the season.

11:37 a.m. : Bionaz, first to leave, first to arrive on the shooting range. So far, everything makes sense (unless you put me on skis, then it would be first to go, last to arrive). And it’s 5/5 for the Italian on the prone. 4/5 for Dale straight away.

11:36 a.m. : We are at bib 16 at the starting gate. The first Frenchman, Antonin Guigonnat, will leave with the 24th.

11:32 a.m. : Dale puts 6 seconds on Bionaz from the first intermediate. Not here to prank little Johannes.

11:30 a.m. : We are going to have the first reference time with Johannes Dale. The Norwegian has just left the starting gate.

11:29 a.m.: It is the Italian Didier Bionaz who sets off first in this pursuit. Let’s go !!!!

11:24 a.m. : In terms of the start-list, Dale will start in third position, Nawrath 9th, Johannes Boe in 21st, Guigonnat 24th, Perrot 26th, Samuelsson 28th, Christiansen 39th, Fillon mallet 42nd, Tarjei Boe 49th, Jacquelin 62nd, Fabien Claude 70th, Emilien Claude 86th

11:19 a.m. : Hochfilzen is my favorite biathlon station, with this little bridge before the finish line.

11:16 a.m. : Well, we are going to hope for a revival of the French team, which was quite average on the Ostersund side. Afterwards, the Blues are not the only ones in tough times. Johannes Boe, who dominated in previous years, is having difficulty shooting and is not having a great start to the season (even if he made a podium in the individual event).

11:12 a.m.: Hello everyone, that’s it, our skis are waxed, we are ready for this first live biathlon of the weekend with the men’s sprint.

07:30 a.m.: Hello to all Bibixes!

Hello everyone, we meet in the bitter cold of Hochfilzen (Austria). Let’s forget the men’s fiasco of the first stage in Ostersund (Sweden), and let’s cross our fingers for a whole new level of performance for the gang of Quentin Fillon Maillet and Emilien Jacquelin. After an already very difficult past season, especially if we compare it to the prowess of Julia Simon in the Women’s World Cup, it will not take long to quickly trigger results in the French men’s biathlon. In any case, we are attacking this three-day Austrian session with the 10 km sprint which will set the tone for the weekend for our biathletes. Note that in addition to QFM and Emilien Jacquelin, we will find four other tricolors on the start list for this sprint: Antonin Guigonnat, Eric Perrot, Fabien Claude and Emilien Claude. It’s up to you, gentlemen.

>> Meet us from 11:15 a.m., before the start of the men’s sprint at 11:30 a.m.
