Hosea Ratschiller, one of Austria’s leading satirists, presents his most personal solo program to date at the Lustspielhaus.
It’s probably a mixture of the interest in the view from outside, the connection with some in the Munich scene and also a bit of the phenomenon of the prophet in our own country. In any case, the Austrian Hosea Ratschiller has always liked to schedule premieres in Munich. He first presented books here, most recently the first joint reading of his book “Bringing the Father to the World”, which he wrote with his father Klaus, in the Volkstheater. But in 2015 he also played the premiere of his penultimate cabaret solo program “Doppelleben” in the Lach- und Schießgesellschaft. Ratschiller first played his next one, “A New Person”, in Vienna in 2019, as did his new program “Hosea”, but the performances in the legendary, but also legendarily small, cabaret Niedermair still have a more exclusive character.
