10:29 a.m.: Marine le Pen tackles Gérald Darmanin
This Tuesday, the RN deputy, Marine Le Pen, denounced the “total helplessness” of the Minister of the Interior, Gérald Darmanin, after the knife attack that occurred at the Gambetta high school in Arras on Friday. She also called for the expulsion of “any foreign person” who “associates with Islamist fundamentalism”.
“All the elements were there to expel” the author of the attack and his family, she declared on France 2, judging that “we must demonstrate absolutely total firmness” with the “enemies of France” who “bring with them death and terrorism”.
