More precisely, according to the latest figures communicated by INSEE, the price increase now stands at 3.4% over one year. According to the same source, food prices are around 7.6%. higher than a year ago, therefore including the “anti-inflation quarter“.
For the moment, the government has not mentioned an alternative system, considering that the end of this “does not prevent new operations with price reductions“, indicated Bercy in particular. The Ministry of the Economy also intends to put pressure on distributors, recalling that the latter have “publicly said” that they will continue to pursue actions aimed at consumers.
