The question that is now often asked on social media is easy to answer, but difficult to implement: Can you also report cyclists who behave in a way that violates traffic? The answer: a resounding yes. But it’s just not as easy as with illegally parked cars, for example. If the cyclist who is driving on the wrong side speeds past you, pedants could try politely asking whether he would perhaps give out his name and address in order to report the matter to the police. It is not possible to photograph a license plate.
Telling off cyclists wouldn’t occur to the self-appointed advertising chief, as he’s been cycling around the country for some time now, apparently with the aim of reporting an illegally parked car in every city. But that’s exactly why he now creates a desire for revenge among passionate drivers, which they would take out not only on him, but also on all cycling Germans. The so-called advertising master has had a remarkable career on the Internet since Spiegel TV discovered him, and he is apparently currently in Bavaria.
This can be seen, among other things, from the fact that he was cycling in Kaufbeuren a few days ago, wearing yellow high-visibility clothing and the inscription “Polizfi” on the front of the bike. The young man reports illegal parking via an app, which is clearly not something a woman in Kaufbeuren would do wanted to leave. There is a video that has been viewed many times, in which you can see the woman emphatically asking the cycling avenger to delete the photo of an illegally parked car. When he refuses, she reaches for his cell phone – the advertising manager falls theatrically to the ground.
Now there are complaints against the woman, but at least she doesn’t have to worry about defending herself: As various media reports, a lawyer wants to represent her legally free of charge. There won’t be much to come out of the advertisements anyway, as the advertiser would still need a lot of acting lessons, but that could probably be sorted out quickly. Meanwhile, interested media are rumoring that the so-called advertising master is an artificial product of the entertainer Stefan Raab. The man, who obviously doesn’t like parking illegally, expressly denies this.
