The 15-year-old schoolboy attacked this Thursday died

The 15-year-old teenager who was violently attacked in Viry-Châtillon died from his injuries this Friday, April 5, said the Evry public prosecutor in a press release this Friday.

“Emergency surgery last night, the victim died today early in the afternoon,” the press release specifies.

Beaten up, he was left for dead on the asphalt

The schoolboy, who attended the Sablons college, was leaving a music class around 4 p.m. when he was attacked and then beaten up by a group of three or four hooded individuals.

Seriously injured, the schoolboy was left for dead on the asphalt. Found by a passer-by who notified the emergency services, in cardio-respiratory arrest, he was taken care of by the firefighters and the Juvisy Smur, then evacuated in critical condition to the Necker hospital in Paris.

Investigation opened for assassination

According to the city’s mayor, Jean-Marie Vilain, when asked about BFM TV, “he was attacked between two stairwells by three or four people who beat him, who massacred him.” According to the councilor, “shocked by this ultra-violence”, the victim was left between life and death on site.

“An investigation is open for murder and violence in a meeting near a school,” adds the prosecutor, who specifies that an autopsy will take place in the coming hours.

“Investigations are continuing to determine the circumstances of these criminal acts and allow the arrest of the perpetrators,” adds its press release.
