Texas hostage-taking: gunman holds people captive in synagogue – politics

As reported by several media in the United States, a gunman is holding at least four people in a synagogue in Colleyville, Texas. The rabbi of the community of Beth Israel is said to be among the hostages. According to the police, the area has been evacuated and is on duty with a special unit. The FBI is also involved. Federal police negotiators are said to be in contact with the hostage-taker.
