In episode five of “Battle of the Reality Stars” the celebrities who performed best in the safety game are the ones who get hit.
Isi Glück’s (33) attempt to encourage her colleagues to do a round of aerobics is abruptly interrupted in episode five of “Battle of the Reality Stars” (Wednesdays at 8:15 p.m. on RTLzwei and RTL+): Colleen Schneider (28) comes to the star beach, Self-proclaimed “TV personality” (including “Bachelor”) and psychologist, she wants to mediate between arch rivals Aleks Petrovic (32) and Maurice Dziwak (25). Ultimately, she says, it’s well received by men, but only women have problems with it.
This will be evident with the next new addition. It is Gisele Oppermann (36). With tearful appearances on “Germany’s Next Top Model” and the jungle camp, she earned the title of “crybaby of the nation”, which she wears with pride. Colleen immediately makes herself unpopular with Gisele: “How long has it been since you’ve been on TV?” she asks. “I’m on TV every year,” she replies, annoyed. Gisele would like to eliminate Colleen, who moved in with her, right away, she reveals in a conversation with Maurice.
A candidate who only moved in last week is already showing signs of dissolution. Annemie Herren (60) misses her family and has never been away from home for so long. Her feet are also giving her trouble. And everything in the Sala reminds her of her beloved brother Willi Herren (1975-2021), who was on “Battle of the Reality Stars” before his death. Maurice only manages to comfort Annemie for a short time.
Maurice the lion is made into a monkey
Annemie is banned from the punishment game because of her foot problems. The other reality stars, on the other hand, have to fight to get luxury items. Each celebrity is the sponsor for a group of items. As the supposedly strongest candidate, Aleks is supposed to secure six beds, Calvin Kleinen (32) four more. Even more important to most stars are cigarettes, which Kevin Schäfer (34) is supposed to support – and alcohol, which Cecilia Asoro (28) is supposed to secure. Maurice is offended that he is only supposed to save the coffee. But he has always underperformed at the games so far, Gisele rubs his nose in his face. “Lion” Maurice feels like he’s been made a fool of. After all, that’s what’s left over if you cross out the first and last letters of the word coffee.
In the punishment game entitled “Ohhhh my Goooooott!” the stars have to stretch the word “God” for 25 seconds. Except for Gisele, Cecilia and Calvin, no one manages the task. But the three successful word stretchers have to go into a second round. However, none of them manage to fill twelve of the 18 gaps in a cloze text.
Annemie Herren gives up
Annemie is waiting for her colleagues in an almost empty room. And has more bad news. The Cologne woman gives up. Tearful farewell. Annemie’s departure frees up a bed. The participants left the last two remaining pieces of furniture to senior citizens Annemie and Lilo von Kiesenwetter (68).
Gisele immediately expressed interest in the bed, thereby continuing to increase her popularity among her colleagues. Kevin and Tanja Tischewitsch (34) prevailed. As Sala residents from the very beginning, they see greater rights in themselves. They share the bed until Tanja moves to the floor in the middle of the night. Gisele sulks even though she is allowed to sleep on the sofa. Her mood doesn’t improve when she is voted the most humorless person of the season on the “Wall of Truth”.
Kevin shoots himself offside
The participants not only have to tighten their belts in the Sala, but also in the safety game. Always three of them, they are forced into a large belt. You then have to guess celebrities based on three clues. The team that answers correctly first gets to tighten the belts of an opposing trio until they can’t anymore.
Aleks, Maurice and Tanja are assigned to a nominally strong team. Kevin, on the other hand, has to compete with Lilo and Elsa Latifaj (19). The uncharming “Prince Charming” candidate doesn’t like that at all. He completely freaks out about the seemingly unfair division. But in the ring, Kevin scores with celebrity knowledge. Nevertheless, his team is the first to be eliminated, the belt is simply too tight. Kevin is finally served.
The Aleks-Maurice-Tanja trio, which Kevin rated so strongly, actually wins. However, this is entirely up to Tanja. The men wisely hold back and send her “masculine energy”. Aleks and Maurice hug each other after the victory, as if they hadn’t been at each other’s throats in the last episode.
Back in the sala then the disillusionment. The safety ticket is divided into three parts. The three winners must select one from their round who is protected from being voted out. Actually, the men could give the ticket to Tanja, who won the game almost single-handedly. But the trio decides to let the lot decide. Aleks takes the ticket to the next round. He is relieved as he already saw himself on the hit list of the newcomers Colleen and Gisele.
Surprising twists in Night of Decision
On the night of the decision, the established celebrities first have to send one of their own home. Kevin’s reaction to the team composition now blows up in his face. Cecilia, Isi, Maurice and even Kevin’s “husband” Aleks give him their coin.
For Kevin, who has never been in danger before, a single mistake becomes his undoing. In the history of “Battle of the Reality Stars,” other candidates have already gotten away with more serious offenses. Kevin is correspondingly unforgiving. He wants the others to “fall on their faces.”
Gisele and Colleen choose a candidate for a strange reason. They punish Tanja for not fighting for the safety ticket. The irony of the story: Tanja and Kevin are the very ones who have to go because they delivered the best performance in the safety game.
But there is another plot twist. Kevin and Tanja are called to the executive floor. Alcohol is finally waiting there. And an immoral offer. Since Annemie left voluntarily, only one person has to go. One could have said this before the night of the decision. Now Kevin and Tanja have to decide among themselves who can stay. The resolution will be available next week.
