Polygon becomes the 11th USDT blockchain to be available after Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, Algorand, Tron, Omni, EOS, Liquid Network, Kusama and Bitcoin Cash’s Standard Ledger Protocol.

Tether says that the launch of USDT on Polygon will expand its blockchain network ecosystem, now withDecentralized Applications More than 19,000 transactions are running on Polygon and their users can use USDT to move funds in and out of that ecosystem. and generate returns, Tether said.

Although USDT can be used on multiple blockchains But the usage on Ethereum and Tron is the highest. As shown in the image below from The Block’s information dashboard.

One of the main reasons why USDT is popular with Tron is because blockchain is cheaper and faster fees than Ethereum, with more USDT and Tron users moving money between platforms.

Tether said it plans to launch USDT on more blockchains, and earlier this week, the companyhas launchedMexico’s stablecoin as part of Latin America expansion
