Ten years of “Grill den Henssler”
The anniversary season starts in October

Steffen Henssler celebrates ten years of “Grill den Henssler”. For the anniversary season, numerous celebrities are once again taking part in the cooking show.
“Grill den Henssler” is celebrating a big birthday! The hit show with TV chef Steffen Henssler (51) is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year. In keeping with its status, the private broadcaster Vox has now also announced a corresponding anniversary season. It starts on Sunday, October 22nd, at 8:15 p.m. with a comedy quartet consisting of Paul Panzer (51), Mirja Boes (52), Oliver Pocher (45) and Jan van Weyde (44). Three further episodes (October 29th, November 5th and November 12th) will also be broadcast at the usual broadcast time at the end of the weekend.
The other guests include actress Luna Schweiger, comedian Oliver Kalkofe, singer Kim Fisher, former cyclist Kristina Vogel, hit duo Marianne and Michael, comedian Ilka Bessin, PS professional Sidney Hoffmann, presenter Guido Cantz and reality TV star Evelyn Burdecki. As always, the celebrities compete against Henssler in different disciplines.
They are supported by well-known TV chefs, in the coming season by Christian Lohse, Lucki Maurer, Maximilian Lorenz and Marcello Fabbri. Jana Ina Zarrella, Christian Rach and Reiner Calmund are once again on the jury. The show will again be moderated by Laura Wontorra.
270 prominent guests have already visited Steffen Henssler
So far, Henssler has competed against his guests in 142 programs on his show. The first episode was broadcast on September 29, 2013 and revealed the cooking skills of actress Anna Thalbach, musician Henning Wehland and presenter Panagiota Petridou. At the start, Henssler beat his opponents 89 to 75.
He won 101 times, giving him an impressive winning rate of almost 70 percent. In addition to the 34 defeats, there were only six draws. A total of 270 different celebrities have already visited him. The top three most frequently attended star guests at “Grill den Henssler” are reality TV participant Detlef Steves (18 visits), presenter Verona Pooth (7 visits) and comedian Mario Barth (6 visits).
