Ten dogs perish in fire at dog farm

A fire broke out on Saturday evening around 11 p.m. in a house in the town of Saint-Vincent-sur-Graon, located between Les Sables-d’Olonne and Luçon in Vendée, reports West France. Quickly on the spot, the firefighters took charge of the two occupants of the house, a mother and her daughter, who were relocated by relatives. The house, which also housed a dog farm, was completely destroyed by the flames.

Inside the kennel, the firefighters managed to shelter about forty dogs. Ten animals unfortunately could not be saved and died in the fire.
