As an actress, the Dresden native appears in the Munich crime series “Der Alte”. In her private life, she rarely watches crime films.

television commissioner Stephanie Stumph (“The Old Man”) has little personal interest in crime series. “I have to honestly say, I don’t watch that many crime dramas,” the 39-year-old told the “Augsburger Allgemeine”. “I don’t think the crime novels are all that different from each other and depend mainly on their main characters,” she explained.

As an actress, Stumph has already appeared in several crime films. The 39-year-old doesn’t mind that she plays the role of the much younger assistant in the Munich ZDF crime series “Der Alte” under the new inspector actor Thomas Heinze. “Well, in general I don’t have anything against old white men,” Stumph said. “I’m still investigating with someone who does it wonderfully.” She enjoys working with her new colleague Heinze. “We have a lot of fun together. He is ambitious, creative and humorous. You see, humor is important to me. He is passionate about his cause. I like that. The viewers love him.”

Stumph comes from Dresden, but now lives primarily in Munich.
