“Germany’s Next Top Model”: Mirella has to pack her bags

The Berliner could not convince the jury and had to leave the show. “GNTM” boss Heidi Klum was dismayed.
Mirella is the first top ten candidate to leave the casting show “Germany’s Next Top Model”. The 21-year-old Berliner could not convince in the 14th episode in any challenge and therefore does not go to Las Vegas with the others. Hostess Heidi Klum wished the candidate all the best and said visibly sadly: “It’s always a shame. It’s getting more and more difficult towards the end.”
In the first challenge in the desert, the candidates posed in bright colors with large balls in front of the camera of fashion photographer Kristian Schuller (52). In the second challenge, they were supposed to stage the black looks of the Berlin designer Esther Perbandt (48) in a western town. Guest judge that evening was supermodel Karolína Kurková (39).
Somajia (21) from Bielefeld did not take part in the second challenge. She tested positive for the coronavirus and had to isolate herself from the others. In quarantine, she kept herself entertained with a fashion show in her room. Because a convincing photo was taken of her in the first challenge, she can also go to Las Vegas like this.
