After the violent death of a 19-year-old in Upper Palatinate, the Regensburg police launched a call for witnesses on Friday. For example, the investigators want to know who was in the Regensburg underground car park at the time in question on May 3rd and 4th, where the young woman was found dead in the trunk of a parked car. The police are also looking for people who were traveling on bus number 41 from Regensburg towards Schwandorf between 5 p.m. on May 3rd and 6 a.m. on May 4th.
The 55-year-old ex-boyfriend and work colleague of the killed woman is in custody on suspicion of manslaughter. Investigators suspect that he killed the young woman. According to police, traces of the 19-year-old’s blood were found in his house. However, the man denied the crime during his interrogation, according to the Regensburg public prosecutor’s office.
