Teen girl escapes kidnapping attempt on her way to college

Big emotion on September 16 in the morning, in the district of Cross-Bream In Toulouse. It was just after 8 a.m. when a 13-year-old girl walking to college was grabbed by a man who forced her to follow him.

The young girl struggled and was able to escape the grip of her attacker, running back home to warn her parents.

The victim’s father caught up with the man with whom he had an altercation, before the latter was arrested, on Lapujade Road, by a municipal police patrol.

The 24-year-old suspect was immediately handed over to the national police and taken into custody. According to police sources, he suffers from serious psychological disorders and has been interned in a psychiatric establishment. Medical expertises will dictate the continuation of the investigation by determining if it is accessible to a criminal sanction.
