Taylor Swift: “I write all my songs” – Panorama

Taylor Swift, 32, US musician, is fed up with the music of Briton Damon Albarn. “I was such a huge fan of yours,” Swift wrote on Twitter, “until I saw this.” She meant an interview that the frontman of the musical groups blur and Gorillaz the Los Angeles Times had given. In it, Albern claimed that Swift doesn’t write her songs herself, or that it “doesn’t count” if she’s co-songwriter. “I write ALL my own songs,” Swift hit back. “You don’t have to like my songs, but it sucks that you’re trying to discredit my writing.”

Ian Anderson, 74, British rock musician, was ahead of his time. “I’ve been traveling with a face mask in my carry-on for about 25 years,” the rock band’s singer said Jethro Tull (“Locomotive Breath”) of the German Press Agency. “If, like me, you’re prone to upper and lower respiratory infections, which has plagued me since childhood, a face mask always comes in handy in crowds.” He hardly changed his hygiene behavior during the pandemic, said Anderson. “I’ve always been a chronic handwasher and I’m careful not to get too close to people in crowded and noisy environments where people are talking loudly to each other,” says the singer, who is on tour with his band in Germany this summer . “I’ve been nervous about that for most of my life.”

Neil Young, 76, Canadian musician, threatens to boycott the audio platform Spotify. As reported by “Variety” among others, Young published an open letter on his homepage on Monday evening, which was later taken offline again. In it he wrote that he no longer wanted his music on Spotify and asked his management to inform the streaming service about it. “I’m doing this because Spotify is spreading false information about vaccines – potentially causing the deaths of those who believe the disinformation they’re spreading.” According to media reports, the anger is directed against the podcast by US comedian Joe Rogan, who has been criticized for playing down the corona virus and spreading conspiracy theories: “You can have Rogan or Young. Not both.”
