Because she was still a minor when filming, Nastassja Kinksi wants to have the nude scenes in “Tatort: Matriculation Certificate” from 1977 banned. Now the responsible broadcaster NDR has commented on this.

Nastassja Kinski was only 15 years old when she appeared in the “Tatort” episode in 1976.“Graduate Certificate” was in front of the camera. At that time, the public crime thriller caused a scandal: she played a student who has an affair with a married teacher and was seen naked in numerous scenes. Apparently no one cared about the actress’s young age at the time, but now Kinski is taking action against the spicy scenes: like the NDR star confirmed, her lawyer has contacted the broadcaster with the request that some scenes from “Tatort: Matriculation Certificate” not be broadcast any further.

The broadcaster will respond to this in a timely manner, according to the press office. Kinski’s lawyer told “Spiegel” that legally valid consent to the nude scenes as a minor was impossible. “Nastassja Kinski was actually unaccompanied on set when the scenes were filmed,” the lawyer is quoted as saying.

The sensitive “crime scene” will not be broadcast for the time being

Things could get tricky for NDR, which produced the episode and is also the rights holder. Since Kinski’s lawyer’s post, the broadcaster has been checking on which platforms the “crime scene” is currently available. “We are in discussions with licensees about removing the film from streaming platforms until the matter is clarified,” said NDR. If Kinski is successful, the film would probably no longer be broadcast without the nude scenes. But the broadcaster is likely to be even more worried about other, possibly similar cases from previous years. “A legal review is taking place at NDR as well as an assessment of possible consequences,” the broadcaster tells the broadcaster star with.

There are no plans to broadcast the episode on ARD until further notice. However, one thing remains unchanged: the broadcaster continues to advertise the scandalous “crime scene” on its website with a dubious quote from NDR Fiction boss Christian Granderath. “‘Maturity certificate’ with Nastassja Kinski was a sexual initiation for many young males in the 1970s. That’s another reason why this ‘crime scene’ has become a legend,” it can be read there.

The fact that Kinski, who was underage at the time, was advertised as a “sexual initiation” for young men on public television does not seem to be a problem on NDR. “The quote from the NDR fiction boss represents a classification in the temporal context of the 1970s and not an assessment,” commented the broadcaster.
