For the first time since the beginning of the corona pandemic, the Frankfurt Book Fair is taking place again this year. However, with restrictions and much smaller than usual. And not without conflicts: There are disputes about new right publishers at the book fair.
Miryam Schellbach is at the book fair for the SZ and says that it would not be so easy to exclude right-wing publishers. However, the book fair should not have given the controversial publishers such a prominent stand. Schellbach advocates using the space for discussion and reflection on the subject of racism.
