SZ Podcast “Das Thema” – By train through Europe: What remains after Corona – Culture

Europe actually lives from the freedom to travel. But it was difficult for a long time during the pandemic: border controls, entry bans and the fear of the virus virtually shut down the continent for months.

The borders are now open again. In this episode of “Das Thema”, Alex Rühle reports how Europe is doing after a state of emergency for more than a year. He is the SZ editor in the features section and traveled all over Europe by train for three weeks. In this episode, he explains why he recommends everyone to travel through Eastern Europe with the Interrail ticket.
