The renovation of the new “Love Island” villa is finally complete. Sylvie Meis promises: “You can fall in love here.”

The dome show “Love Island” will start its seventh season next Monday (March 21) at 8:15 p.m. Presenter Sylvie Meis (43) is looking forward to the new candidates, who will be staying in a completely new villa on Tenerife this year: a 300 square meter property in a country house style, with many colorful details, an XXL pool and a dressing room. “I like the country house style and the lots of wood,” enthuses Meis in an interview with “Bild”.

“You have to get used to the new bedroom first, but then it’s great. You can definitely fall in love here or even more. The main thing is that it gets down to business,” says Meis. Because of the around 60 cameras, however, it could be that one or the other couple “if necessary” would have to switch to a “broom closet”, the moderator jokes.

A no-go for Sylvie Meis

Meis hopes for “more real guys again” from the new season. In the last few episodes there was “too much idleness”: “We also need a real idiot or a bitch to keep it exciting.” Tears from one of the men are a no-go for the moderator: “If a man cries after kissing a candidate, I find it funny. Of course, men are allowed to show feelings, but that goes too far for me.” In this case, she wants to personally ensure “that this stops”.
