A driver in the Allgäu has run over a drunk and seriously injured. The 40-year-old wanted to park his car in Rückholz in the Ostallgäu district on Saturday and overlooked the drunk 21-year-old, who had probably slept on the lawn in front of the car, the police said on Monday. However, the exact course of the accident was still unclear. The 21-year-old was flown to the hospital with serious injuries. Since the driver was slightly under the influence of alcohol, the police ordered a blood test. Their results are still pending.
