You don’t have to be a David Bowie fan to find this evening great. Even those who have only listened to his work cursorily will not want to miss a second in the comedy theater, and that is of course thanks to Sven Ratzke, who is something like Bowie’s representative on earth. What a job! Without knowing a single other Bowie apologist, it’s hard to imagine anyone doing it better than this wonderfully eccentric German-Dutchman. And so welcome to “Where are we now”, Ratzke’s ode to Bowie’s life’s work, named after the ballad in which the master remembers his two years in Berlin in the seventies.
