Suspicion of bribery in Bavaria’s state parliament: Public prosecutor’s office is investigating officials – Bavaria

Bavaria’s state parliament has recently received quite a few visits from public prosecutors. First it was about the long-time CSU MP Alfred Sauter and his involvement in the mask affair. Then the AfD faction’s rooms were searched because of a controversial video. The Munich I public prosecutor’s office is now investigating an employee of the state parliament on suspicion of bribery. Three raids within three years: Bavarian parliamentary offices have not been searched so frequently in a long time.
