An altercation over a young girl turns bad. During the night from Saturday to Sunday, a 31-year-old man was killed by a bullet in the eye in Château-Thierry, in Aisne. “A suspect surrendered during the night and is currently in police custody. Having presented himself drunk, he has not been able to be heard until now,” announced the Soissons prosecutor, Julien Morino-Ros, this Monday.
According to the latter, the events occurred outside a bar-restaurant, around 2:50 a.m. An individual fired at a car in which a man in his thirties was traveling. The latter died of a bullet in the eye.
A suspect identified
According to initial testimonies, “the victim and her future attacker, who did not know each other before the evening, had had a brief and light altercation over a young girl whose defense the victim had taken in the face of unpleasant behavior from the “another young man”, specifies the prosecutor, in a press release.
According to France 3, a suspect aged around thirty was quickly identified. He has already been convicted of acts of violence and aggravated theft in Guadeloupe and the Paris region.
