“The lake smiles, it invites you to swim” – putting this quote from Friedrich Schiller into practice is perhaps a bit early given the time of year. At least in the classical sense. Instead of jumping into the cold water with swimming trunks, numerous walkers on Fiji, as the locals often call the Heimstettener See, sunbathed and enjoyed the beautiful mood lighting on the shore. The ducks and other water birds, on the other hand, don’t need an extra invitation to make the lake smile anyway.
