What’s wrong with the Oktoberfest? It’s been running for seven days now and there’s still no real scandal in sight! In the past, you could always rely on this: sometimes there was trouble with unauthorized advertising, sometimes with errors in billing the sales rent, sometimes customs raided a tent. In 2022 there was great excitement around the Bräurosl tent and its new host Peter Reichert; the downfall of the West seemed imminent, partly because the music in the tent was too traditional for the party community. This year: a good atmosphere inside and outside, nobody is thinking about 2022 anymore. And also otherwise: things are mostly peaceful and friendly on the Theresienwiese, one would think before the middle weekend of the Oktoberfest.
