Throughout the network.” With these words, the Munich Transport Company (MVG) promises a 24-hour carefree package on its website. But that obviously doesn’t work perfectly: last Saturday night, an 18-year-old student was raped by a 20-year-old in the Max-Weber-Platz subway station – without the safety precautions of MVG having had any effect.
