At the moment it is easy to lose track of who is on strike in air transport. On Thursday it was the Lufthansa ground employees and the inspectors at the security gates in Frankfurt, Düsseldorf and Cologne. And this happened during the world’s largest travel trade fair, ITB, in Berlin, which greatly angered the relevant industry associations. The pilots of the company’s subsidiary Discover previously went on strike, and the flight attendants of the core brand Lufthansa Airlines will probably soon go on strike, perhaps as early as next week. The list is far from complete.
