In front of the Straßlach town hall and at the Deininger Weiher car park, there are now two brand-new e-charging stations, with which a total of four e-cars can be charged at the same time. Mayor Hans Sienerth put it into operation together with representatives of Bayernwerk. Both locations were selected on the basis of an electromobility concept that the municipality created in cooperation with the district of Munich. The investment costs for this are around 25,000 euros. The costs are subsidized at 50 percent by the Free State of Bavaria. The e-charging stations were approved after a short test phase. Payment is made either with a Bayernwerk card or with a mobile phone, even without registration. “The commissioning of these charging stations is a first step in the implementation of the municipal climate protection strategy,” says Sienerth. If demand increases, the municipality will examine other locations for charging stations.
