Always placed in yellow vigilance by Météo-France in its 6 a.m. bulletin this Wednesday, September 14, the Var department is finally placed in orange vigilance by the forecasting institute until 9 a.m.
“A violent storm approaches the west of the Var this morning”specifies Météo-France to justify its decision to raise the alert a notch.
From 9 a.m., vigilance will again be lowered to yellow. It should be up at 8 p.m.
