Resurgent economic worries weighed on the German stock market on Wednesday. The leading index Dax fell by 0.29 percent to 15,726.05 points and thus continued its recent losses. The stock market barometer remained in its most recent range between 15,500 and 16,000 points.

Rekindled Concerns about the economy weighed on the German stock market on Wednesday. The leading index Dax fell by 0.29 percent to 15,726.05 points and thus continued its recent losses. The stock market barometer remained in its most recent range between 15,500 and 16,000 points.

The MDax for medium-sized stocks fell by 0.40 percent to 27,556.50 points. The Eurozone barometer EuroStoxx lost 0.54 percent.

On the one hand, the soaring oil prices are currently depressing the mood. These are trading close to their 10-month highs, raising concerns about inflation again. The decline in industrial orders in Germany also proved to be a burden in the middle of the week.
