“Politics is often driven by enemy images”

Lena, 44, piano teacher: “I don’t generally not vote, but rather when I don’t want to give my vote to anyone. Having just grown up, for example, I was very happy to vote in the federal election. And I did so by postal vote because I had already moved to Holland to study music . There I studied political science in addition to piano for two years. That was the first time I understood the whole system – before that, there was a lot of discussion about politics with the family, but the conversations at the kitchen table weren’t in-depth. That’s what I chose , what my parents chose, rather than making my own decisions.
