In Munich, it is already represented on the city council, and now the Volt party also wants to move into the state and district councils – with help from the Ebersberg district, among other things. For the first time in an election for the state parliament and the district parliament, the social-liberal and pan-European party in the Ebersberg constituency is running with direct candidates – none of whom, however, live in the district.
Peter Scharf was nominated for the state parliament mandate. The 43-year-old from Großhadern is the father of two children and works as an actuary in the company pension scheme. He sees his priorities in improving childcare, for example through more skilled workers in the day-care center area and improvements in pay and working conditions. But Scharf also wants to work to remove obstacles to investments in solar energy and wind power, such as reducing distance regulations.
The party has nominated Rudolf Einsiedler as a direct candidate for the district council. Born in Ottenhofen in 1956, he has a degree in engineering and is a retired managing director. It is also important to him that local public transport works reliably, even across the borders of municipalities and districts.
