Jens-Daniel Herzog has been State Artistic Director and Opera Director of the Nuremberg State Theater since the 2018/19 season. In 2025 he will be responsible for one of the largest cultural projects in the city’s post-war history: the interim relocation of the house to the former Nazi Party Rally Grounds and the renovation of the old opera house from 1905.
