He has been in gastronomy for almost 30 years: Tim Raue wants to test restaurants on RTL.
Tim Raue can soon be seen on RTL as the new “Restaurant Tester”. He succeeds Christian Rach and Steffen Henssler. New episodes of the documentary format are to be produced from June, as RTL announced on Monday.
In his own words, Raue wants to save livelihoods: “Gastronomy can bring endless joy. And can be frustrating as hell when things just don’t run. I have successfully run countless restaurants in my life, but some have had to close again. After almost 30 years in the industry, I know which screws need to be adjusted.»
He gets support from his wife and business partner Katharina Raue, formerly editor-in-chief of the specialist magazine for gastronomy and the hotel industry, “Rolling Pin”.
