“Star Academy”: after a high-flying bonus, Victorien is eliminated

At the end of a high-profile bonus, it was Victorien who left the adventure. Candice was saved by the public while Djebril was rescued by his comrades. The academicians all delivered great performances, proof of the great progress they have made since their arrival at the Château. Enough to make you want to see what they have in store for us next week. We’ll meet at the same place, at the same time! Good evening !

The academicians prepared a little surprise for the nominees by covering “On va s’aimer”, a title that they all love. Candice is in tears, Victorian too.

Lénie has the chance to sing with Nej on the track “Paro”, the track with 100 million streams. And she had a blast.

Increasingly comfortable at the Château, Djebril is one of the candidates in danger this evening. He will try to prove that he deserves to continue the adventure by covering “Another Love” by Tom Odell. And he delivered!

After being joined by Brigitte, her mother, Héléna begins a duet with Quebec singer Charlotte Cardin on “Anyone Who Loves Me”. A lovely, delicate moment. “I listen with my heart and it touches me,” analyzes Brigitte.

This is the first in the ranking this week. Pierre rubs shoulders with Edith Piaf by covering “The Hymn to Love”. And it’s a performance of great intensity. “It’s a moment out of time,” breathes Pierre at the end of his first solo. “He could sing Botin, we would want to listen to him,” says Michaël Goldman. “I burst into tears,” admits Adeline Toniutti, the singing teacher.

Victorien tries his luck on “10 years of us”, by Ben Mazué. He seems happy with his nice performance.

It’s a dream, but also a big challenge: Margot offers a danced and sung scene. She slips into the shoes of Wednesday Adams on “Bloody Mary” by Lady Gaga. And she puts on a show! “It was crazy,” says the singer at the end of her performance. For Pierre de Brauer, the theater teacher, it was “perfect”. “You took up the challenge!”, says Malika Benjalloun, the dance teacher, also delighted.

Candice defended her place on “J’ende valser” by Zazie.

Margot, too, was treated to a nice surprise by singing with Slimane, her idol.

Julien and Axel, two of the Château’s greatest voices, offer a duet on a cult title: “Le temps des cathedrals”, by Bruno Pelletier. “The treble dropped off at the end,” says Julien, realistically. “You sure are crazy all the same,” Adeline encourages them. The stage expression teacher is also delighted with the work they have done.

The students still in the race offer a colorful and sparkling picture to “I’m Still Standing” by Elton John, who was the godfather of the third season of “Star Academy”. “I am amazed by their memorization of the choreographies,” says Malika Benjalloun, the dance teacher.

Candice will try to get her return ticket to the Castle by covering “J’Envoye Valser” by Zazie. Still fragile, it is expected to be accurate.

She didn’t expect it! Lenie is surprised to sing with her grandfather, Sauveur, the man who made her want to sing. They start with “La Bohème”, by Charles Aznavour. She is very moved. Sauveur is very impressed and “in trouble”!

Mika, the coach of the next season of “The Voice” came to the set of the “Star Academy” to sing his biggest hits with Lenie, Pierre and Axel: “Relax”, “Elle me dit”, “Happy Ending” . Axel, hanging by a thread, loses his shoe! “They are three great singers,” says Mika.

Michael Goldman, the director, salutes the power of Clara, but also the “finesse” and “the dosage” in her intentions. “I was delighted to share this duo with this luminous young woman. She is a woman, a warrior, I really like what she gives off,” says Chimène.

Héléna and Lenie sing a duet on “Firework”, by Katy Perry. A difficult challenge, but met. “It’s a difficult song, the tempo is slower, we switch to operatic vocals. Both were great, but we’re going to work on the English accent!”, says Adeline Toniutti, singing teacher.
