Stadtwerke München (SWM) is making progress with the implementation of the energy price brake – but only slowly. A quarter of private customers are still waiting for the information letter about the cost reduction. The company announced this in a statement. Roughly estimated around 200,000 households should therefore have no idea what their electricity and gas payments will look like in the future. The Stadtwerke do not disclose the exact number for reasons of competition. In the case of commercial and business customers, the Stadtwerke want to have informed nine out of ten customers about the effect of the energy price brake in mid-August and then start paying on account again.
