Monthly trading volume has also increased since a low of $0.5 trillion in December 2022, but has yet to hit an average of $1 trillion. This is the number last seen in the first half of 2022.
Conversely, DEX grew 33.4% versus 16.9% for CEX in the first quarter of 2023. However, the CEX:DEX volume ratio remained above 90% over the same period.
