Spider-Man No Way Home: Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield deleted from the trailer? New intriguing clues

Culture news Spider-Man No Way Home: Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield deleted from the trailer? New intriguing clues

The second Spider-Man No Way Home trailer is undoubtedly the event of the day, which many are trying to analyze: some clues prove to be more convincing than others.

Three Spider-Man for the price of one

Tonight, Sony Pictures and Marvel have finally released the second Spider-Man No Way Home trailer, awaited like the messiah by a huge community. If the film generates so much excitement, it is not only thanks to the popularity of the superhero who has nothing more to prove, whatever the medium, but also because that it’s been the subject of incredibly crisp rumors to all Spider-aficionados.

Among them, the presence of previous versions of the protagonist from the sagas of Sam Raimi and Marc Webb, respectively embodied by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. Between more or less probable leaks and gross fakes, their appearance has been in the headlines for weeks. Alas, they are still missing subscribers in the very recent trailer… or at least, they “seem”.

Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, well present in the trailer?

The theory comes from the famous trailer, and more precisely of the Brazilian version which has a very slightly lengthened sequence compared to the others : this one concerns a shot where Spider-Man dashes in front of the three enemies that are the Sandman, Electro and the Lizard. Not only does the arrangement of all the characters present suggest that one is missing above and one below Peter Parker (and therefore the two Spider-Man of Maguire and Garfield), but the trailer clearly shows the Lizard… taking an invisible punch.

For many, the production simply deleted the two Spider-Man in question during the trailer – a renowned way of keeping the secret until the release of the film – without changing all the special effects, resulting in such a blunder. Likewise, the orientation and gaze of the supervillains in this scene clearly seems to be on opponents… visibly absent from the shot.

We imagine that we will have all the answers to our questions when the film is released, scheduled for December 15 in our French cinemas. The appointment is made.
