Spanish Royals: The Christmas Card Has Arrived!

Radiant and in warm winter clothes the Spanish royals show themselves on their Christmas card this year. The snapshot was taken in the garden of the Palacio de la Zarzuela in Madrid.

The royal greeting card can be seen on Instagram, among other places. The photo shows King Felipe and his wife Letizia standing behind two chairs in the garden of their residence. The two sit in front of them Daughters of Leonor and Sofia. While the royal couple is each wearing a gray blazer, the two princesses can be seen in fluffy sweaters – Leonor in a classic Norwegian model, Sofia in a beige version.

Inside the Christmas card is a short printed greeting in Spanish and English that reads: “Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2022.” The Spanish royals also greet them in handwriting with the words “with all the affection and our best wishes”, followed by the signatures of Felipe, Letizia, Leonor and Sofia.
