With the failure of the conservative Alberto Núñez Feijóo in the parliamentary vote on the future Prime Minister of Spain, not only the country, but the whole of Europe has one less thing to worry about: that another ultranationalist party will come into government responsibility. Spain’s right-wing extremist party, the Vox party, did not make its support for Feijóo conditional; it allegedly did not demand participation in the government. But without Vox’s votes, Feijóo had no chance, and in politics nothing comes for free.
