Charlène from Monaco was happy about her home country South Africa’s victory at the Rugby World Cup final. There was a warm hug for Albert.

Charlène of Monaco (45) attended the final of the Rugby World Cup in Paris last Saturday with her husband Prince Albert II (65). The close game, that South Africa won 12:11 against New Zealand and became the first team to secure their fourth Rugby World Cup title, which caused a lot of celebration among the couple and also led to a warm hug at the end. No wonder, after all, South Africa is the former swimmer’s home country.

It is rare for the two of them to show each other intimately in public. Rather, rumors keep coming up about the state of their marriage. Charlène of Monaco denied the nasty rumors surrounding her relationship at the end of September. According to media reports, in an interview with “News24” she said: “Everything is fine with our marriage.” The rumors were “grueling and exhausting,” she explained.

She traveled to South Africa in mid-September and had previously performed numerous performances with her husband Albert II, to whom she has been married since 2011. The princess has been back in public since spring 2022; before that, she had to struggle with health problems.

Prince Albert also spoke about his marriage in an interview with “Corriere della Sera”. “Charlène is always by my side,” he explained. He clarified that he doesn’t understand all these rumors, that she lives somewhere else is a “lie.” “These rumors hurt me,” added the 65-year-old, who has eight-year-old twins Jacques and Gabriella with Charlène.
